Founded in 2002 by Tony Tanti, the company grew from long-standing relationships with major developers and steady work on multifamily towers across British Columbia.
What started with one client became repeat projects. TANTI remains the preferred flooring contractor of Bosa Developments and continues working closely with Appia and Cressey – partnerships built over decades through consistent execution on site after site.
Tony’s NHL career shaped how the business operates. Discipline. Accountability. Show up prepared. Finish the job properly.
Today, TANTI runs as a focused, boutique team supported by long-term trade partners who return project after project. High-rise towers and large commercial or institutional builds demand tight coordination, tolerance control, and disciplined scheduling. That is the environment TANTI is built for.

PROJECT SCOPE
TANTI regularly delivers projects running 18 to 24 months in duration, including towers exceeding 700 units. Each year the team installs thousands of linear yards of corridor carpet and hundreds of thousands of square feet of laminate and luxury vinyl plank.
The company is structured to support long-duration builds and phased turnovers while maintaining substrate control and coordination accuracy. Some multi-phase projects run more than 10 years from the start to final turnover.
Core Values
Built on discipline, accountability, and long-term partnerships developed across decades of work with major developers.
Work is prepared properly, scheduled carefully, and installed to standard the first time.
One team stands behind the work and resolves issues directly on site.
Developer relationships are built through consistent delivery across project after project.
- Approach
CAPABILITIES & PHILOSOPHY
Now operating as part of the Bridgewater Surfaces group of companies, TANTI extends the group’s capabilities into full interior flooring and surface coordination.
The approach is aligned across both companies: get involved early, protect the schedule, resolve problems before they escalate, and install to standard the first time while maintaining long-term client relationships.
Insurance & Compliance
TANTI carries WorkSafeBC coverage and $10 million in liability insurance. All subcontract trade partners are required to carry active WCB coverage and liability insurance as a condition of working on site.
Documentation is verified before work begins.
